Why it matters

The bathroom is the most-touched utility room in your home. Make sure it’s also one of the calmest.

Tile matters. Waterproofing matters. The vanity, the lighting, the shower glass. All of it matters. But the person you trust to bring it together matters more.

That person needs to know craft. To know what to fight for and what to let go. We built ENE around that. Two rooms. One standard. Family-owned since 2020.

How it works

Now the part that matters most:

How it actually gets done.

The process

  1. 01

    We come to you.

A real walkthrough, in your home. Tape measure. Notepad. Better questions than you expect. You get a real budget range before we leave.

  2. 02

    Selections at your table.

Tile, stone, vanity, fixtures, lighting. We bring vendor samples to you so the choices feel right under your light, not a showroom’s.

  3. 03

    Demo, then waterproofing done right.

Containment first. Then careful demo, proper waterproofing on every wet wall (no shortcuts on the parts you’ll never see), clean rough-in.

  4. 04

    Tile, stone, and fixtures.

Pans set right. Tile lines straight, grout clean. Stone tops fabricated and installed. Fixtures plumbed correctly the first time.

  5. 05

    A walkthrough, together.

Vanity in, mirrors hung, hardware installed. Every detail checked with you before we call it done. Then you actually enjoy the space.

We hired ENE for our bathroom remodel. All the guys who worked on our project were respectful and took great care and attention to detail. Max, Anthony and Josh did the majority of the work, always mindful of the upheaval and extra dust that a remodel can cause. If we had any problems or issues they were quick to address it, even sending someone back (Tyler) to fix a small issue with the plumbing in the shower and sink after the job was completed. These guys are master craftsmen. Extremely pleased with the results. We highly recommend ENE.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ENE CONTRACTORS!! I recently had the tub, tile and shower doors replaced in my bathroom. I just bought my house a year ago and didn’t realize how bad the tub was until I had the keys. I did not feel clean or comfortable in the old shower from all the rust and multiple layers of chipping paint and black mold. But ENE came to the rescue! Alex and his crew came in and brought my vision to life! Thank you for making my house feel like a home! If you need me, I’ll be in here!

An ENE Contractors installer setting tile during a bathroom remodel

The install

A bathroom is won or lost in the details you can’t see.

Waterproofing behind the tile. Slope to the drain. Blocking for the grab bar before the drywall goes up. The parts that decide whether a shower lasts twenty years or leaks in two are the parts nobody photographs.

That’s where ENE’s in-house installers earn their keep. No rushing the substrate to make a subcontractor’s next job. Just the slow, correct sequence that holds up.

The math

Honest numbers. No pad on the estimate.

$25k

Cincinnati market average for a full bathroom.

$20k

Most of our bathrooms land here. Same scope, vendor-direct pricing.

20%

Pocketed by you. Not absorbed into our overhead.

We don’t run an overhead-heavy operation. We don’t pad estimates. We don’t sell you fixtures you don’t need. We do good work at a fair price. That’s the whole pitch.

The family

When you call ENE, you’re calling Alex.

ENE Contractors is owned by Alex Woosley. Husband, dad to three daughters and a son, and a Cincinnati builder who runs his business on a single line: quality work at a reasonable price.

Common questions

Things worth knowing before you sign anything.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Cincinnati?

A full bathroom remodel in Greater Cincinnati typically runs $15,000 to $40,000 depending on size, tile selections, and fixtures. A primary-bath addition or major reconfiguration can go higher. ENE Contractors generally comes in below market because of direct vendor pricing on tile, stone, and fixtures.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

A standard full bath runs 3 to 5 weeks. A primary bath with custom tile work and stone tops typically runs 4 to 6 weeks. Lead times on tile, stone, and custom vanities happen before demo so you’re only without the space during the actual construction window.

Can you convert a tub-shower combo into a walk-in shower?

Yes, and it’s one of the most common requests we get. We handle the demo, plumbing relocation, proper waterproofing, and tile work. We’ll also tell you honestly when keeping a tub makes more sense for resale value in your specific home.

Do you do tile work in-house?

Yes. Tile is one of the make-or-break details of a bathroom remodel, so we never hand it off to a sub we don’t control. Plumb walls, level floors, clean grout lines, and properly waterproofed pans are non-negotiable.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, fully. ENE Contractors holds Ohio contractor license #CBRC010494, carries $1,000,000 general liability and $1,000,000 commercial auto coverage with umbrella coverage on both, and is workers' compensation certified. We pull the permits your project needs, our crew is background-checked, and proof of insurance is available on request.
